Climate Change Is Real And Here Are The Evidence

Climate Change Is Real And Here Are The Evidence

Climate change is a topic that has been debated by many. While there are those who are extremely concerned about climate change issues, thee are those who completely deny its existence as something real. But, believe it or not, climate change is as real as it can ever be. It is understandable if you feel that you are being misinformed about the problem and that it isn’t a real threat. After all, we all have been duped in the past! However, here are a few pieces of evidence that are impossible to refute, and you will be able to verify as well.

Climate Change Proof That You Need To Know About

Climate change isn’t fully accepted across the world, and there lies the danger. Just because some of us don’t acknowledge a problem does not mean that the problem itself ceases to exist. However, what this does is makes it rather difficult to solve the root causes of the problem, and it persists, until one day it becomes too late to act upon. So, whether you are a believer of climate change issues or not, these are the evidence you need to know, either to be aware or to spread awareness.

Extreme Climate Conditions

Let me begin with one thing that we can all feel. It’s the climate around us. Unless you are living under the ground, you will agree to the fact that climate conditions have been extremely harsh over the past few years at least. The summers are growing hotter and the winters are getting colder. We are having irregular rainfalls as well. These are some of the clear indications that climate change is happening, and it is happening fast.

Natural Calamities On The Rise

Simply remember the number of extreme natural calamities being reported from across the globe. If you can’t possibly remember, do some research. Check out the number of typhoons, tornadoes, cyclonic formations, and other such events that have been reported over the past 10 years. You will see it for yourself how the count is changing. I need not stress any more on this.

Receding Ice Sheets

Both the Arctic and Antarctic regions are feeling the heat. The Antarctic ice sheet has lost 127 Bn Tons of ice per year between 1993 and 2016. The same span saw the Greenland ice sheet lose 286 Bn Tons of ice every year. I know you might not be able to go to these places in person but do check out the Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment being conducted by NASA. They have all the evidence documented and filmed.

Glacial Melting Increased

Even though you might not be able to go to the polar areas, you can certainly check out the glaciers nearest to your location. Glaciers are melting really fast over the past years and it’s happening across the world. Not only does this threaten to flood of the land, but also decrease in pure potable water from natural sources.

There are numerous other pieces of evidence of climate change. It is happening whether you choose to believe or not. But, if you are to survive, and wants your future generations to sustain, try not to live in denial!
